Natalie Massenet Starts A New Company
Imaginary Ventures Ltd
Net-a-porter founder and former executive chairman Natalie Massenet has set up a new company, Imaginary Ventures Ltd., according to paperwork filed at Companies House, the official registry of U.K. businesses. Back in September, Natalie Massenet resigned from Net-a-Porter, the e-commerce powerhouse that she founded and launched in 2000. The entrepreneur reportedly cashed out of all of her shares in the company, which were worth an estimated $153 million, and never shared any future plans. A spokesman for Massenet confirmed to WWD that the Companies House facts were correct but declined to provide further details about the nature and timing of the new venture. Massenet told WWD in September that her entrepreneurial drive "is as strong today as it always has been, and my passion for innovation will continue to be my greatest guide in business."
